While there have been several Indian reality shows that have ruled the hearts of Indian audiences for ages, however, the one particular creation that swept the hearts of millions with their offbeat content and ideas was the recently released reality show, Shark tank India.
Marking its release on Sony TV the first season of the show was widely praised by the Indian audiences for its unique format and the fans are highly looking forward to the release of its next season.
Adapting its plot from the American business reality television series with the same name, a similar kind of show was even made in Japan that marked its release in 2001 named as money tigers.
While we all fell in love with the jury members or apparently who we address as sharks, the show became a stunning platform for various hidden talents and made them showcase some of the coolest yet quirkiest business ideas that none of us could have ever thought of.
The inaugural season of the show, which generally included a panel of five sharks, premiered on December 20, 2021, and ended on February 4, 2022.
Despite the fact that its original/ American version had already been renewed for the 11th, 12th, and 13th seasons, its Indian version has completed its maiden season successfully. This show was hosted by prominent television personality Rannvijay Singha and featured some self-made multi-millionaires sharks who decided to pitch in their investments and judge various company plans.
Surprisingly, only 198 of the 62,000 candidates from India were able to present their ideas to the sharks, and only 67 businesses received contracts this season. While the uniqueness and intelligence of the Indian applicants astounded us all, this evening witnessed a sequence of inconceivable concepts to some of the worst ones ever.
And as for the panel, five of the following seven sharks were made present in each episode who served on the panel of possible investors or Sharks, deciding whether or not to invest their personal money to assist, advertise and guide each contender. And, to top it off, the audience was wowed by the panel’s “Power Ladies,” whose self-made multi-millionaires startups served as a source of inspiration for all the women out there!
While we are already aware of the sharks and their traits as well as their multimillionaire startups, let’s have a look at the spouses of these powerful “Sharks”:
