Celebs Who Left Big Boss Midway.

While there have been several Indian reality shows that have marked the releases over the years, the one particular franchise that has managed to create excitement among the Indian audiences happens to be the Indian reality game show, Bigg Boss. Regarded as one of the most notorious game shows, Bigg Boss has completed its 14 seasons along with the 15th one currently being telecasted.

With each season having a different name and challenges, the latest season marked its beginning on 2nd October 2021 and has already reached halfway round. Being named Big Boss 15: Pan Pana Pan Pandrah, the season is currently being shot in a House situated in Mumbai.

With all of us spending years witnessing the dramas, tantrums, love stories, and breakups that occurred inside the Bigg Boss house, each season manages to create the same sense of excitement among the audiences following the quirky tasks and fights along with the fresh faces being introduced in each season.

Majorly being hosted by the actor Salman Khan, this show by Endemol shine India, is based on the Dutch show Big brother. With this franchise having been extended into seven other spoken languages, the show became prominent with its first Hindi season in 2006. 

Bringing immense fame and fortune for the contestants inside the Bigg Boss house, It’s time to take a look at some of the contestants who got immensely ill inside the house and had to walk out in the middle of the season.

Raqesh Bapat

Talking about the current season, the participant of Bigg Boss 15, Raqesh Bapat had to mark his sudden exit from the house following his complaint of Kidney stones. Emerging as one of the most favorite contestants of this season, the brewing chemistry between Shamita Shetty and Raqesh became one of the major entertainers for the audiences and while none of us wanted this lovely couple to separate, Raqesh had to cut short hairs Bigg Boss journey after becoming highly ill due to kidney stones.

Marking as a wild card entrant, Raqesh has currently been hospitalized. While we all truly wish for his faster recovery and making a comeback on the show soon, let’s see how it goes. 

Vikas Gupta

Having appeared in the previous season of Bigg Boss that is 14th, the contestant Vikas Gupta also had to make his exit following serious health issues. Having been named as Bigg Boss 14: Ab Scene Paltega, this season premiered on 3rd October 2020 e on colors.

With Salman Khan being the host of the show, the television actress Rubina Dilaik emerged as the winner. And amongst various brilliant contestants competing in the house, Vikas Gupta could certainly have sustained for more days however, he had to mark his exit midway due to some unknown medical issues.

However, if some reports are to be believed, the latter was suffering from a serious throat infection following which he had to be kept under strict observation. 

Zubair Khan

Becoming the contestant of Bigg Boss season 11: Padosi Bajenge Barah, Zubair Khan was evicted right on the seventh day of the show. Accused of faking his identity, Zubair was pulled up by the host and could not sustain for longer.

Following the serious medical issues encountered by this contestant inside the house, Zubair had to rush to the hospital and was later evicted from the show.

Siddharth Shukla

Probably one of the most loved contestants from the Bigg Boss franchise, the late actor Siddhant Shukla was seen in the 13th season of Big Boss. While he emerged as the winner of the show, Siddhant also became one of those contestants who had to leave the show at first, midway for getting seriously ill.

Becoming one of the most loved seasons of this franchise, Bigg Boss 13: Tedah became highly prominent for the set of participants that were introduced in the house. Having been evicted on day 30, Siddharth was taken out of the house after getting seriously ill and having been diagnosed with typhoid. After getting hospitalized for several days the actor made a brilliant comeback in the house after the successful recovery and emerged as the winner of the show. 

Manu Punjabi

Appearing in the 10th season of Indian reality TV series Bigg Boss, back in 2016, this season allowed the entry of commerce as contestants who were referred to as India wale. Becoming highly popular for a shift in its concept, Bigg Boss named the season – India Isse Apna Hi Ghar Samjho.

Ved the fusion of showcasing prominent faces with some commoners, amongst those, the reality TV actor Manu Punjabi also became a contestant to the show and emerged as the third runner-up to the show. Previously having a period in Life OK show – The Bachelorette India, in 2013, Manu was again seen in another reality show Bigg Boss. Again being called in season 14 as a Challenger on the show, the latter had to leave in between after suffering a pancreatic attack and was hospitalized for several days. 

Paras Chhabra

Looks like season 13 became a bane for the contestants inside the house following various contestants marking their exit midway following health issues. Having walked out of the house on the 67th day, he again entered the show on Day 75 and emerged as the 5th runner-up of the show.

Marking his exit midway following a badly injured finger that needed to be treated through surgery, the contestant had to leave the house and seek medical attention from outside. However, after getting well, the latter again marked his return to the house. 

Devoleena Bhattacharjee

The third contestant that walked away from Big Boss season 13 following health issues was Devoleena Bhattacharjee. While she could have lasted even longer on the show, the actress had to leave the house on Day 62 following a serious back injury. While the fans were speculating about her marking a return after getting better, the makers didn’t let that happen.
